                   Contrast; Prefixes; Root Words; Fact and Non-Fact, "Scruffy" Vocal. test is Thursday, Jan. 26


English:      Ch. 4 test,  on Adjectives , is Wednesday, Jan. 25.
                    We are working on our "Adjective Menus".


Spelling:    Unit 16, words with /o/ and /or/, Unit 16 test is Friday, 1/27
                


Math:          Ch. 9, Dividing by 1-digit divisors, Ch. 9 test is Tuesday, 1/24
                    Ch. 10, Number theory and averages.


Social Studies:    Ch. 8, Exploring the Midwest, Ch. 8 test is Friday, Jan. 27.
                             All of the students have been assigned a U.S. President to research and are
                             currently finding and noting details of their lives.  The students have the
                             required information that needs to be in the project.  Again, the due dates are
                             Feb. 21-24.
